Established at the beginning of the 2001 season, KOCKA Tailgating is one of LSU's great tailgating groups, having garnered many of tailgating awards and strives to bring it's members and guests a wonderful tailgating atmosphere and experience every game. The tailgate is primarily made up of members who contribute a membership donation which helps it run and pay for everything but your alcohol. Everyone is welcome as you do not need to be a member to tailgate with us. There is plenty to do all day. They are equipped a TV, tents, chairs, a variety of tailgating games and competitions, and they even have their our own live DJ every home game. ​ Located on the Old Front Nine parking lot you can usually find them by searching for their 40 foot flag pole bearing the American and LSU flags. Kocka normally arrives before the sun comes up so come out and have a great time.

Drinks offered at this tailgate: Ice chests for beer... and there is usually a pre-made drink called "KOCKAtion".  Also, for the bigger games there is a bar set up from one of their sponsors with some whiskey type drinks.

What makes this tailgate stand out:  Honestly, it's the amount of heart and soul that this group puts into every tailgate.  It is a very welcoming group that have been tailgating for a long time and have won several tailgating awards at LSU and have

been featured in many tailgating articles.
