This SEC tailgate is filled with the loudest, most passionate fans and probably and to my honest knowledge have the biggest and best privately owned setup anywhere on campus and are not far from the stadium. The tailgate itself has been around for approximately 25 years or so and used to operate under 'Steve and Miss Jeanie's Tailgate' named aptly for the people that started it. It used to be right next to the 'Rock" on campus and then moved into Circle Park. Over the last few years this tailgate has been updated and upgraded to make it one of the most fun, accepting and rowdy-in-the-right-way tailgates in Knoxville and renamed it 'Neyland's Brigade' in Honor of our Legendary head coach Robert Reese Neyland and equally in that he was a Brigadier General.
