Bayou Bandits Tailgating was established in 2012 by 5 LSU alumni that shared similar passions: All things LSU -Our Louisiana Culture -The Great Outdoors Each Bayou Bandits tailgate is a celebration of these passions. And we do it in STYLE. From a 6ft projection screen to slow cooked Louisiana fare to ice cold Abita Beer on tap. There is nothing like a Bayou Bandits Tailgate. Come on out and see for yourself!!! Tailgating For the Coast: Come out to the tailgate and support the restoration of the beautiful LOUISIANA wetlands that we call home. Proceeds from each tailgate are donated to the Coalition to Restore Coastal LOUISIANA.

3 tap custom jockey box CO2 system drawing from a minimum variety of 3 different types of beer. The quantity of kegs per game varies depending on the opponent and expected turnout but ranges from 3-9 kegs per game.
Jambalaya (recipe published in Abita: Louisiana True Cook Book), pastalaya, gumbo, shrimp étouffée, sauce picante, boudin, boudin balls, stuffed breads (I.e. crawfish bread), pulled pork tacos, fajitas, etc.

The location first, and foremost. Located in the heart of campus at the historic Indian mounds under the stately oaks. The tailgate is on the main road that the LSU players and band travel to get to the stadium. The band/Golden Girls/parades/mascot march/play in formation directly in front of our tailgate. You just can't beat the location. The set up: which includes their own custom wrapped trailer with two flush mounted TVs, purple and gold 20x20 peak tent, professional sound system, beer tent with multiple craft beers on tap, two custom beer pong tables, two sets of washer boards, fans, high top tables with linens and a large projection screen. Their current and past sponsors include: Current: Abita Beer. They provide as much beer as we need. The beer situation turns heads. Box K Events: They provide the tents, tables, chairs, linens, etc. They make the tailgate look like a corporate event or wedding. This is not your typical tailgate setup. Frog Skin Graphics: provided and designed our beautiful custom vinyl trailer wrap. The trailer stands out amongst the crowd. Past: Faux Pas Prints. Provides customized t-shirts, polos, koozies, feather banners, flags, etc.. People love the swag. Southern Pipe: Provided a Komado Joe pit and ice chests. Allows us to crank out some legit bbq. True Value Hardware: Provided: 15 gallon jambalaya pot and burner. Each week everyone can’t wait to see what we have cookin up in the pot. The Food: Don’t expect burgers and hot dogs at this tailgate. They plan and prep their food all week prior to Saturday.
