Founded prior to the 2013 season, The Red and Black Brigade originally tailgated at the Uptown Rentals owned "The Majestic" apartment courtyard. With only a table and Weber grill they prided themselves on providing another option for Cincinnati Bearcats fans to tailgate. Since their humble beginnings, the Brigade has tailgated at Bogart's back lot and Uptown Rentals "Views on the Vine" before finding our current home on campus at The Grid Spot #19. We are organized by students and young alumni alike with a strong passion for all things Bearcats. In 2018 we stated partnering with the UC Marching Alumni Band hosting them for each game.

This Big 12 tailgate has everything needed to elevate your gameday experience in Cincinnati, we've got plenty of shade with ample canopies to cover most of the tailgate. Usually we have about 20-30 guests and the event is open to all ages though typically, the guests are about 25-35 years old. American food - burgers and fresh cut fries - will be on-hand with beer, liquor, and a keg to wash it all down! Come early to enjoy the party 6 hours before the game and if you don't have a ticket to head into the stadium or just don't want the fun to end don't worry. We've got a TV to watch the game on and we'll be hanging out for an hour afterwards as well! Our stereo will be playing, our 6" long bar will be stocked with liquor, and our keg and beer games will keep the party going for as long as we're there. Can't wait to meet you!
